At this level, the student expands their ability to describe in simple terms aspects of their environment, past experiences, and immediate needs, thus consolidating their skill to participate in basic everyday communicative situations.<\/p>\n

  • Submission of the certificate of completion of Level A1 issued by the Language Center of Fundaci\u00f3n Universitaria Mar\u00eda Cano.<\/li>\n
  • Submission and passing of the placement test administered by the Language Center.<\/li>\n
  • Submission of an internationally recognized certification approved by the Ministry of National Education, in accordance with current regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Note: If no certification is available, the applicant must take the institutional placement test.<\/p>\n

    Basic technological skills<\/strong>
    \nTo take part in the Academic Programs of English offered by the Language Center of Fundaci\u00f3n Universitaria Mar\u00eda Cano, whether in on-site or distance modality with a virtual education strategy, the student must use technological resources such as a computer, camera, microphone, and internet connection in order to interact with the virtual learning environments of the program.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    The graduate of the A2 Academic English Program at the Language Center of Fundaci\u00f3n Universitaria Mar\u00eda Cano will achieve an A2 level of proficiency in communicative competence, in accordance with the standards of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).<\/p>\n

    At this level, the student is able to understand phrases and frequently used expressions related to areas of experience that are especially relevant to them, such as basic information about themselves and their family, shopping, places of interest, and occupations. They can communicate in simple, everyday tasks that require straightforward and direct exchanges of information on familiar topics.<\/p>\n

    Likewise, they can describe in simple terms aspects of their past, their surroundings, and immediate needs, and interact in common situations with a basic degree of autonomy.<\/p>\n
