At this level, the student enhances their ability to produce clear and detailed texts on a wide range of topics, as well as to argue and defend viewpoints, considering different perspectives and supporting their opinions in a structured manner.<\/p>\n

  • Submission of the certificate of completion of Level A1, A2 and B1 issued by the Language Center of Fundaci\u00f3n Universitaria Mar\u00eda Cano.<\/li>\n
  • Submission and passing of the placement test administered by the Language Center.<\/li>\n
  • Submission of an internationally recognized certification approved by the Ministry of National Education, in accordance with current regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Note: If no certification is available, the applicant must take the institutional placement test.<\/em><\/p>\n

    Basic technological skills<\/strong>
    \nTo take part in the Academic Programs of English offered by the Language Center of Fundaci\u00f3n Universitaria Mar\u00eda Cano, whether in on-site or distance modality with a virtual education strategy, the student must use technological resources such as a computer, camera, microphone, and internet connection in order to interact with the virtual learning environments of the program.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    Graduate Profile <\/strong><\/h3>\n

    The graduate of the B2 Academic English Program at the Language Center of Fundaci\u00f3n Universitaria Mar\u00eda Cano will achieve an B2 level of proficiency in communicative competence, in accordance with the standards of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).<\/p>\n

    At this level, the student is able to understand the main ideas of complex texts dealing with both concrete and abstract topics, even if they are technical in nature, as long as they are within their field of specialization. They can interact with native speakers with a sufficient degree of fluency and naturalness, so that communication takes place without effort on the part of the interlocutors.<\/p>\n
