On Thursday, June 24 and Friday, June 25, the Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation receives the visit of the peers of the Ministry of National Education for the renewal of the qualified registry of the Specialization in Senior Management, attached to the Faculty of Business Sciences, and obtaining of the same for the proposal of Specialization in Cybersecurity, which will be attached to the Faculty of Engineering of the Institution. La Mar\u00eda Cano welcomes virtual visitors:<\/p>\n

Mercedes Parra Alvis: Business Administrator, Senior Management Specialist, Master in Administration, Master in Education, Professor at the University of Tolima.<\/p>\n

Leonidas Fl\u00f3rez Giraldo: Industrial Engineer, Specialist in Senior Management, Master in Administration, Professor at the University of Santander.<\/p>\n

Juan David Prieto: Electronic and Telecommunications Engineer, Computer Security Specialist, professor at Uniminuto.<\/p>\n

Vivian Andrea Garc\u00eda: Bachelor of Electronics, Totopography Engineering, Systems Engineering, with a Doctorate in Education, Magister in Education, Magister in Quality and Integral Management, Specialist in Information Security, Specialist in Mathematics Education, Specialist in Applied Information Technologies and professor at the Santo Tomas University.<\/p>\n

The visit is attended by the rector Hugo Alberto Valencia Porras, the team of Vice-Rectors, the deans, directors of academic programs, the leaders of the different institutional subsystems, as well as the professors, students, graduates, researchers and strategic allies.<\/p>\n

The Specialization in Senior Management, which has a long history at Mar\u00eda Cano, seeks to project management towards the comprehensive analysis of management processes, which allow the implementation of alternatives that start from the innovation of processes, the use of technology, the generation of indicators and accustoming innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship in their work, which will allow them to promote the solution of existing problems in an organization, regardless of its size or the sector to which it belongs.<\/p>\n

For its part, the Specialization in Cybersecurity proposed by the Faculty of Engineering aims to train specialists with the necessary competencies and aptitudes to design and execute strategies that allow them to successfully overcome a cyber attack in organizations, either through the use of software tools and hardware as well as the legal procedures established by Colombian legislation, for this, the program has the necessary and sufficient basic, disciplinary and investigative curricular content.<\/p>\n
