The 2018-2022 National Development Plan \u00abPact for Colombia, pact for equity\u00bb, raises in Science, Technology and Innovation the need to train researchers and innovators to lead the transformation of the country’s CTeI. In this sense, the Government of Cauca, the University of Cauca and its allied entities: the Comfacauca University Corporation (UNICOMFACAUCA), the Cooperative University of Colombia (UCC), the Autonomous University Corporation of Cauca (UNIAUTONOMA), the Regional Productivity Center and Innovation of Cauca (CREPIC), the Colegio Mayor del Cauca University Institution (UNIMAYOR), the Higher School of Public Administration (ESAP) and the Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation present the call for Young Researchers and Innovators for the Department of Cauca.<\/p>\n

The call is derived from the project \u00abIMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROJECT OF YOUNG RESEARCHERS AND INNOVATORS IN THE DEPARTMENT OF CAUCA\u00bb approved by the Collegiate Body of Administration and Decision (OCAD) of the Fund for Science, Technology and Innovation FCTeI – SGR on October 7, 2020. This project seeks to promote the scientific vocation in young people of the Department of Cauca with academic excellence, postulated by the entities of the National System of Science, Technology and Innovation (SNCTI).<\/p>\n

The research and innovation project must be presented in alliance with the FISIOTER Research Group (recognized by Minciencias in category A), and must be focused on solving problems in the Department of Cauca, framed in one of the thematic focuses prioritized by the Departmental Council of Science, Technology and Innovation (CODECTI) in the Departmental Strategic Plan and Agreement of CTeI (PAED), and respond to one of the departmental challenges of CTeI established by the same entity.<\/p>\n

The financing of each young person will be for a period of 12 months, with monthly payments of $ 2,842,779 (approximately 3 SMMLV) delivered to the young people in three disbursements.
