<\/p>\nFor the third consecutive year there is evidence of growth and consolidation of the work led by the research groups of our Mar\u00eda Cano. Sapiens Research, an organization that evaluates different aspects of this pillar of higher education, published the classification of the DTI ranking, Technological Development and Innovation of higher education institutions and research groups in Colombia, year 2021.<\/p>\n
In the case of HEIs, the Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation participated along with 229 other institutions in the country, obtaining 55th place at the national level and 11th in Antioquia; However, it is important to highlight that, among private HEIs, which are also university institutions, it was ranked 8th at the national level and 1st in the department; which shows a great consolidation in the generation of DTI products.<\/p>\n

Regarding the research groups, in the category of business innovation products, 5,200 groups from Colombia were analyzed, where an institutional classification was achieved as follows:<\/p>\n

From the Center for Business Research and Development, it is noted that in addition to the researchers from the main headquarters in Medell\u00edn; In the products of the aforementioned category, teachers and students from the Cali, Neiva and Popay\u00e1n campuses participate, who are essential protagonists, together with the university community of the capital of Antioquia in this recognition.<\/p>\n
The Sapiens Research classification for the year 2021 shows, once again, the disciplined, permanent, rigorous and teamwork that is carried out in the groups to deliver socially useful knowledge and products.<\/p>\n
