{"id":10301,"date":"2021-09-22T18:25:26","date_gmt":"2021-09-22T18:25:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fumc.edu.co\/en\/?p=10301"},"modified":"2021-09-22T18:26:57","modified_gmt":"2021-09-22T18:26:57","slug":"bill-to-give-continuity-to-the-minciencias","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fumc.edu.co\/en\/bill-to-give-continuity-to-the-minciencias\/","title":{"rendered":"Bill to give continuity to the Minciencias"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The president of the Colombian Association of Higher Education Institutions with Professional, Technological or University Technical Training &#8211; ACIET &#8211; and rector of the Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation, Hugo Alberto Valencia Porras, was present at the official act in which he settled before the Secretariat General of the Senate of the Republic the bill that seeks to give continuity to the creation of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, after ruling C-047 of 2021, the Constitutional Court declared Law 1951 of 2019 unenforceable, by which This portfolio of the National Government was created.<\/p>\n<p>Minister Tito Crissien, who filed the project, accompanied by leaders from different academic, research and economic sectors of the country, highlighted the importance of the initiative whose main objective is \u201cthat the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation has a Law that complies with all constitutional and legal requirements and thus remedies the shortcomings found by the Constitutional Court \u201d.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the senior official said that for the country to be able to have a knowledge economy that allows growth, consolidation and development that favors research, analysis and support for innovation and entrepreneurship, it is necessary to have an entity that formulates the policy public of science, technology and innovation, which is direct responsibility of the work carried out by the ministry.
