The Mar\u00eda Cano Public Accounting program was invited to participate in a high-impact conference organized by the Cesmag University in the city of Pasto; through its accounting office, the Sinergia research group, the San Francisco research group and the department of social projection of this outstanding institution of higher education in the department of Nari\u00f1o. This event of academic and investigative importance has the representation of the professor Ricardo Alonso Colmenares Fl\u00f3rez, professor of the Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation under the theme \u00abStrategic management of costs, a teaching of covid-19\u00bb.<\/p>\n

The companies and entrepreneurs of the 21st century worldwide were not prepared for the health emergency situation generated by the pandemic; a scenario that put strategic planning and contingency plans to the test, which were not enough to face this problem; Costs being an essential element in any business model, it cannot be limited to a simple calculation of how much a good and \/ or service costs to set and establish a sale price.<\/p>\n

The professionals and entrepreneurs of the new era must view costs under the dynamic of strategic cost management, leading to reinvent the elements of cost, in a friendly way against the different critical situations that the organization or the global economy may face. It is there where the space arises to visualize the pandemic that humanity and the economy in general have faced, as a strategic opportunity to face and assume the costs of an organization.<\/p>\n
