At the Medell\u00edn de la Mar\u00eda Cano headquarters we are excited because we are starting a month that will be essential for the accreditation of the Business Administration (face-to-face) and Speech Therapy programs at the Medell\u00edn headquarters. We all prepare ourselves: students, professors, collaborators, graduates, agencies, strategic allies and the community in general to receive visits from peers from the National Accreditation Council – CNA. It will be a great commitment to demonstrate the growth, the maturity of the programs and the Institution, as well as the rigorous self-evaluation process that will be carried out with a view to establishing continuous improvement plans.<\/p>\n

At CNA it is clear in stating that: \u00abThe high quality of an academic program, from the perspective of accreditation, is recognized by considering references from which it guides its action and poses highly demanding and complex challenges, recognizing its own particularities, according to the identity, mission and typology, as well as the level of training of the academic program \u201d. In the same way, it highlights that \u201cin this process the CNA conceptualizes taking into consideration both the self-evaluation carried out by the program, as well as the external evaluation of the peers. Based on this concept, the Ministry issues the corresponding accreditation resolution. Accreditation is voluntary and temporary. It is not part of the inspection and surveillance process that the State must exercise and therefore does not replace it. It is not a mechanism for the authorization of programs, since it is not intended to guarantee minimum operating requirements \u201d.<\/p>\n
