The rector Hugo Alberto Valencia Porras began this morning the visit to verify the conditions for the renewal of the qualified registry of the Specialization in Audiology, within the framework of decree 1330 of 2019, whose main objective is to regulate the qualified registration processes and academic quality of HEIs, to consolidate a vision of quality that responds to social, cultural and environmental demands, in which the diversity of Higher Education Institutions, their nature and their institutional objectives in a differentiated way is recognized, harmonizing the assurance model that the country has with international standards.<\/p>\n

The pair that makes the visit, in the virtual modality, is Mr. Mar\u00eda Helena M\u00e9dicis Neira, Speech Therapist of the Colombian School of Rehabilitation Affiliated to the Colegio Mayor de Nuestra Se\u00f1ora del Rosario; He is a Master in Disability and Social Inclusion from the National University of Colombia; He is a Specialist in University Teaching from the Universidad del Rosario and is a Specialist in Audiology from the Colombian School of Rehabilitation. This shows that the Par has training in the area of \u200b\u200bthe program and experience as a Par from the Ministry of National Education.<\/p>\n

The specialization in Audiology is one of the most traditional of the Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation and trains specialists who contribute to the promotion of auditory well-being and the prevention of auditory pathologies; an innovative specialist who can establish evaluation, diagnostic and intervention processes, taking into account the latest scientific and technological advances in this field.<\/p>\n
