Research in the Faculty of Engineering is strengthened, professors Silvia Marcela Henao Villa and Boris Mauricio Revel\u00f3 Rendon of the Software Engineering program have been accepted in the doctorate in Project Management focused on technological development and innovation at the Benito Ju\u00e1rez University of Mexico which allows strengthening the investigative process in the Grintec group of the Faculty of Engineering. Currently the professors are peer evaluators and are categorized as Associate Researchers before Minciencias.<\/p>\n
Professor Silvia Marcela Henao Villa is a Computer Science Engineer, Master of Education with 20 years of experience in academic and administrative processes, as a university professor at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, face-to-face and virtual, in the areas of information technology and communications, information systems and software development, participation in research projects related to the application of technologies in psychology, speech therapy, the environment, robotics, automation, electromedicine and related topics in general with health and engineering. Member of the Grintec research group of the Faculty of Engineering of the Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation and of the Ingebot robotics hotbed, Junior Researcher at Colciencias.<\/p>\n
Professor Boris Mauricio Revelo Rend\u00f3n is an Instrumentation and Control Engineer, Master in Education with 18 years of experience in academic and administrative processes, as a university professor in face-to-face and virtual modality in the areas of circuits, electronics, digital, PIC microcontrollers, expert systems , artificial intelligence, telematics, among others. In general, he works on topics such as automation, control, electronics, telecommunications, information systems and software development. Researcher of topics related to the application of technologies in alternative energies, robotics, psychology, the environment, speech therapy, physiotherapy, electromedicine, in general in areas related to health and engineering. Junior researcher before Colciencias, member of the Grintec research group of the Mar\u00eda Cano Faculty of Engineering and coordinator of the Ingebot research hotbed.<\/p>\n
