Dear students, teachers, researchers, graduates and collaborators of Mar\u00eda Cano in the beloved city of Neiva! With the Physiotherapy program, in the capital of Huila, the National Accreditation Council – CNA, completes six visits, in recent months, to Mar\u00eda Cano.<\/p>\n
These accompaniments, from very high-level academic peers, from similar programs in other higher education institutions, are given because we have fulfilled, with optimal results, a series of demanding requirements (or initial conditions) that only one in four academic programs in the country, have been able to serve.<\/p>\n
The time has come to show the department of Huila, the health professionals in Neiva and, in general, the academic community throughout Colombia, what the physiotherapists of our Mar\u00eda Cano are made of, and why their prestige is not unfounded and which, on the contrary, constitutes a reference for the exercise of the profession.<\/p>\n
The visit begins and as it is an external evaluation exercise, we are aware that they will also find opportunities for improvement, to continue growing. And that is what it is all about, showing pride in a job well done, and the humility to accept recommendations for improvement to continue consolidating ourselves.<\/p>\n
The accreditation constitutes a support of the greatest exponents of the country’s academy to the work of a program. It is very similar to the Portuguese expression \u201ceu acredito\u201d to say \u201cI believe\u201d. In my capacity as rector I \u00abbelieve\u00bb with all my heart, but I also trust and feel deep respect for the indicators of your work and results, that the Neiva Physiotherapy undergraduate degree is worthy of representing us as one of the most committed to the institutional quality.<\/p>\n
As is traditionally said, the cards are on the table, and the academic peers of the CNA will simply come to confirm what, for us, is a daily life. Thank you very much for your disposition for what is to come.<\/p>\n
Here we are united, as a great team, for this important appointment with quality and with the pride of being #M\u00e1sMar\u00edaCano.<\/p>\n
