The Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation is committed to providing the community with the best services for the development of its substantive functions, for which a process of technological change and updating has been carried out at the Medell\u00edn, Cali, Neiva and Popay\u00e1n campuses, with the acquisition of new equipment for the computer rooms that are at the service of students, professors and researchers.<\/p>\n

A total of 124 new desktop computers were installed in the computer rooms of the Medell\u00edn, Cali, Neiva and Popay\u00e1n offices; At the same time, 30 mobile portable computers were delivered that will support the training process of the entire university community at the Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation.<\/p>\n

Additionally, computer equipment was repowered in all the campuses that will allow optimizing the academic work of students and professors. Likewise, 30 members of the administrative staff of the Institution in the different cities where Mar\u00eda Cano is present, benefited from the change of their computers and 50 more were repowered, which guarantees a substantial improvement in the provision of the service to national level, with a total investment amounting to $258.000.000<\/p>\n

In this way, Mar\u00eda Cano meets the goals outlined in the Development Plan 2017 – 2026 \u00abBuilding the Future\u00bb, in the strategic line of Institutional Management, initiative \u00abGuarantee the technological infrastructure according to the needs of the institution\u00bb, which is linked directly with the quality of the work that is done.<\/p>\n

It is important to note that the equipment updating and repowering program is projected to continue in the medium term, benefiting the university community of Medell\u00edn, Cali, Neiva, Popay\u00e1n and the Mariacanovirtual campus, providing adequate conditions for higher education.<\/p>\n
