Between the months of June and August, the Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation will have the participation of five students from the cities of Barranquilla, Bogot\u00e1 and Manizales and from the country of Mexico to participate in the XXVII Summer of Scientific and Technological Research of the Pacific promoted to through the Dolphin Program, to which the Institution is linked, with the aim of consolidating cooperation projects in the line of international scientific production. The visitors are: Crista Vega Sanmart\u00edn, from the Reformed University Corporation; Gabriela Tovar Guerrero, from the Autonomous University of Manizales; and David Aar\u00f3n Bujanda Sandoval, from the Autonomous University of Ciudad Ju\u00e1rez; who will be in the face-to-face modality. There will also be the participation, under the virtual modality, of Kelly Alejandra Palma G\u00f3mez and Mayra Alejandra Mar\u00edn Aguirre, from the Andean Area University Foundation. During their research stay, students will contribute to the development of research projects led by professors of Physiotherapy and Speech Therapy at the Medell\u00edn campus.<\/p>\n
The students were received in a welcome meeting, in which the institutional directors participated, in a space of knowledge and awareness, where the commitment of Mar\u00eda Cano and the students to the strengthening of international research was evidenced. The following participated in this first relationship work: Carlos Julio Escobar Nore\u00f1a, Vice President for Outreach and Social Projection; Jorge Albeiro Herrera Builes, Academic Vice President; Andr\u00e9s Guti\u00e9rrez Villa, Administrative Vice President; Nelson Alberto R\u00faa Ceballos, Director of the Center for Business Research and Development; Amilbia Palacios C\u00f3rdoba, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences; Juanita S\u00e1nchez Romero, Director of the Physiotherapy program; Belkis Lorena Torres Osorio, Director of the Speech Therapy Program; Catalina Lopera Mu\u00f1et\u00f3n, Sebasti\u00e1n Grajales Toro, Juan Sebasti\u00e1n Valencia Valencia, professors of Physiotherapy; Natalia Hern\u00e1ndez Garz\u00f3n, Professor of Speech Therapy; Elizabeth Rold\u00e1n Gonz\u00e1lez, Researcher and Technical Advisor of the Institution before the Dolphin Program; as well as Tatiana Isabel Fontalvo Grueso, Head of International Relations.<\/p>\n
The Mar\u00eda Cano opens its doors for the continuous strengthening of academic and research activities for the constant qualification of new professionals who prepare for the challenges of Colombia and the world.<\/p>\n
