The Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation, at the Medell\u00edn campus, receives on July 21 and 22 the visit of the academic peers of the Ministry of National Education for the renewal of the qualified registration of the Speech Therapy program at the Medell\u00edn campus and obtaining the qualified registration that will allow offering the Specialization in Health Services Management. The visitors, in the virtual modality, are the following professionals and academics; for the Speech Therapy program: Gloria Isabel Berm\u00fadez Jaimes, who is a Speech Therapist from the National University of Colombia, Master in Disability and Social Inclusion and Doctor in Social Studies, works as a university professor and has been Research Director of the Colombian School of Rehabilitation in the city of Bogota. Natali L\u00f3pez N\u00fa\u00f1ez is a Speech Therapist from the Ibero-American University Corporation, Specialist in Curriculum and Pedagogy, Master’s in Education and Inclusion, Doctor in Education, she has worked professionally as a university teacher and curricular manager at Eafit University.<\/p>\n
For the new program of the Specialization in Health Services Management, Mar\u00eda Cano receives Mar\u00eda Teresa Santander Due\u00f1as, who is a Physiotherapist, Specialist in Health Services Administration, Specialist in Occupational Health, with a Master’s Degree in Occupational and Environmental Health, Teacher A university student since 1998, she has worked at the Industrial University of Santander for 23 years in the department of public health, as well as at the Manuela Beltr\u00e1n University, the University of Santander and the Technological Units of Santander, she has worked as an advisor and consultant to the secretaries of health of Santander and municipalities of that department and as Physiotherapist of safety and health at work with the government of Santander.<\/p>\n
Likewise, the Institution receives the visit of Nancy Giovanny Cocunubo Cocunubo who is a Respiratory Therapist from the University Foundation of the Andean Area, Specialist in Health Audit, Specialist in Management of Institutions in Social Security in Health, Master in Integrated Management Systems; She has worked in university teaching at the Manuela Beltr\u00e1n University, the Andean Area University Foundation and the Colombia Cooperative University, she has worked in the area of \u200b\u200binternal control, in management of health companies and in planning of health services, she is also an advisor of quality in the NTC-ISO\/IEC 17025 standard of Icontec.<\/p>\n
The visit is attended by the rector Hugo Alberto Valencia Porras, the vice-rectors Jorge Albeiro Herrera Builes, Carlos Julio Escobar Nore\u00f1a and Andr\u00e9s Guti\u00e9rrez Villa; in addition to the dean Amilbia Palacios C\u00f3rdoba and the director of Speech Therapy, Belkis Lorena Torres Osorio, in addition to the support and commitment of the other directors and managers of the different academic and administrative areas of Mar\u00eda Cano and the professors, who stand out for their work and commitment to meet this goal outlined in the institutional development plan, which seeks to guarantee a relevant academic offer, which contributes to the professional training of future professionals and specialists.<\/p>\n
