The Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation received the visit of the academician Claudia Puerta Guzm\u00e1n, dean of the Faculty of Education of the Cooperative University of Colombia, office advisor of the Antioquia Secretariat of Education, Head of Legalization and Accreditation of the Government of Antioquia, training advisor for work and human development of the Government of Antioquia and international expert in skills, who held a discussion with the vice-chancellors, campus coordinators, deans and directors of the academic programs on the National Qualifications Framework – MNC, which It is constituted as an opportunity to face the existing disarticulation between the educational system and the labor market, the problems regarding the recognition of learning obtained throughout life and educational mobility.<\/p>\n

This discussion with Dr. Puerta Guzm\u00e1n is one more step that reflects the institutional commitment to build the path towards the diversification of its academic offer at the level of Training for Work and Human Development, under the national guidelines contained in the Framework National Qualifications, which aim at the recognition of learning, the personal and professional development of citizens, labor insertion or reinsertion and the productive development of the country, all purposes, which are fully articulated with the mission of Mar\u00eda Cano.<\/p>\n

Mar\u00eda Cano advances in meeting the goals outlined in the Development Plan 2017 – 2026 \u00abBuilding the Future\u00bb, where the expansion of the academic offer is a fundamental aspect for institutional positioning.<\/p>\n
