In 2019, the World Health Organization recognized burnout as a disease, which will be included in the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (ICD-11), which began on January 1 of this year. The headquarters of the Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation located in the capital of the Department of Huila, in an inter-institutional work, with the National Open and Distance University; participated in the production of a book that addresses burnout syndrome, which affected some teachers during the covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>The book is divided into two important moments; the first focuses on explaining the instruments to assess fatigue in teachers from the perspective of Byung-Chul Han&#8217;s philosophy; the second moment relates topics such as the challenges of the public university and how they were faced, the challenges of education, challenges and difficulties that arose when using technological means.<\/p>\n<p>Mar\u00eda Cano continues to consolidate itself as an institution committed to high quality, strengthening ties with the region&#8217;s universities and continuing with its work of making contributions for the benefit of society, this time showing the importance of paying attention to the conditions of health that affect the physical and mental area.<\/p>\n<p>The authors of the book are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Piedad Roc\u00edo Lerma Casta\u00f1o, Physiotherapist of the Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation<\/li>\n<li>Omar Alberto Alvarado Rozo, Bachelor of Philosophy from the National Open and Distance University<\/li>\n<li>Liz Giomaira Montenegro Losada, Psychologist at the National Open and Distance University<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Invited authors participated, who contributed their knowledge:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leonardo Fabio Mart\u00ednez P\u00e9rez, Bachelor of Chemistry<\/li>\n<li>Natalia Katherine Garc\u00eda Ram\u00edrez, Bachelor of Chemistry<\/li>\n<li>Carolina Robledo Castro, Psychologist<\/li>\n<li>Juan Alexis Parada Silva, Bachelor of Philosophy and Letters<\/li>\n<li>Andr\u00e9s Felipe Rivera G\u00f3mez, Bachelor of Philosophy<\/li>\n<li>Luis Gerardo Pach\u00f3n Ospina, Professional in Foreign Languages \u200b\u200band International Business<\/li>\n<li>\u00c1lvaro Garc\u00eda Mart\u00ednez, Bachelor of Chemistry<\/li>\n<li>Darwin Leonardo Vargas S\u00e1nchez, Bachelor of Chemistry<\/li>\n<li>Carlos Adri\u00e1n Granados C\u00e1ceres, Commercial and Systems Administrator, amateur photographer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Professor Piedad Roc\u00edo Lerma Casta\u00f1o is a physiotherapist from the University of Pamplona, \u200b\u200ba specialist and master in neurorehabilitation from the Autonomous University of Manizales, a doctoral student in Cognitive Sciences at the Autonomous University of Manizales.
