The teacher Nefer Castro Bonilla of the Maria Cano University Foundation at the Neiva headquarters was present at the Sports Science Forum, the return to sports with a multidisciplinary vision; The activity was carried out virtually and in person at the facilities of the University Foundation of the Andean Area of \u200b\u200bthe city of Pereira. This academic work was organized by the Center for Sports Sciences (CCD) belonging to the Ministry of Sports, with different presentations on topics related to health, such as muscle injury and the CCD procedure, the application of a multidisciplinary model in rehabilitation of muscle injuries, when to surgically intervene a muscle injury, the etiology of rehabilitation to sports readjustment, biological therapies in muscle injuries and the fundamental principles for their application.<\/p>\n

The teacher of the Mar\u00eda Cano presented his paper called \u00abBiological therapies in muscle injuries. Fundamental principles for its application\u00bb, where he presented his knowledge about the treatment of platelet-rich plasma, its benefits and the necessary process for its use; the controversies that have been generated around this proposal, what it would be and how to achieve the ideal procedure for carrying out this treatment for muscle injuries. In addition, the objectives that are sought to be achieved with the realization of the treatment of biological therapies were shared, in what type of injuries this work can be carried out, the time necessary for the application after the injury, the correct method for the application, the amount of applications of the treatment, the recommendations before and after the application, as well as the contraindications and the adverse effects.<\/p>\n

With this investigative recognition paper, at the national level, the institutional mission of being present in the different local, regional, national and international scenarios is responded to; At the same time, the quality of the teachers that the Institution has is made evident.<\/p>\n
