In the capital of Valle del Cauca, the First Forum of Comprehensive Health Community Practices was held, initiated by the municipal mayor’s office and the most recognized higher education entities in the city. The Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation had a relevant intervention promoted by the professor of the Physiotherapy program Juli\u00e1n David Cer\u00f3n Bedoya and the student Rafael Antonio D\u00edaz, with a presentation on the significant experience of interdisciplinary work with the community, focused on the training process of the elderly, which stimulates and promotes the development and professional skills of the Institution’s students.<\/p>\n

Through the Ministry of Health, the administration of the city of Cali praised the work done, the effort and the active participation of the university community of Mar\u00eda Cano, by putting the knowledge acquired in the classroom for the benefit of the community, which represents coherence of the educational process in the academic program with university social responsibility.<\/p>\n

The Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation feels deep respect and joy to participate in such important and outstanding spaces, allowing to demonstrate that the education given to future professionals, accompanied by teachers with high quality standards, can be seen reflected in the well-being of society. shocked.<\/p>\n
