From the Faculty of Business Sciences, the Business Administration program and the Sumar Research group, with the initiative of Professor Ana Mar\u00eda P\u00e9rez Naranjo and the support of Professor Ricardo Le\u00f3n S\u00e1nchez Arenas, on November 3 and 4, 2022, will develop the \u00abI International Meeting of Social and Technological Innovation\u00bb, in which the National University of Colombia, Medellin, the Colegio Mayor de Antioquia University Institution, the Technological Institute of Sonora – ITSON of Mexico, the University of Sonora- UNISON of Mexico and the MEUNE Network.<\/p>\n

The meeting seeks to promote a space for discussion and reflection, around processes of innovation and social and technological development in Latin America. In the same way, it aims to facilitate the relationship between the University, the Company and the State that facilitates the promotion of programs aimed at solving problems from the promotion of Social Innovation programs.<\/p>\n

The activity will feature the participation of renowned national and international speakers, and will be held in the case of Medellin, in the Samuel Melguizo Auditorium of the Faculty of Architecture of the National University of Colombia, Medellin, in the case of Mexico, will be held at the Technological Institute of Sonora.<\/p>\n

The tables that will be developed in the scientific event are the following:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Debates and conceptual reflections on research in social innovation<\/li>\n
  2. Relationship Company, University, State. Challenges and perspectives in social innovation<\/li>\n
  3. Significant and experiential practices of social innovation<\/li>\n
  4. Academic challenge – Presentation of the solution to the challenge<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Based on the proposed thematic tables, different positions will be proposed on social and technological innovation as fundamental instruments to eradicate poverty, fight hunger and improve health, as well as to achieve sustainable, inclusive and equitable development. The fourth table, \u00abAcademic challenge – Exhibition of solution to the challenge\u00bb is exclusive for the students of the participating educational institutions and consists of two challenges that will be proposed within the framework of the event and that will be solved by student work teams that will be formed by the event organizers. The best solution proposals for the challenges will be awarded.<\/p>\n
