The Faculty of Health Sciences implements research, innovation and entrepreneurship policies and advances the goals defined in the Institutional Strategic Plan 2017-2026 \u00abBuilding the Future\u00bb, in this framework of action the National Research Meeting has been developed, as an opportunity to strengthen the annual Research meeting, as a strategy for the social appropriation of knowledge with the active participation of the academic community of Medell\u00edn, Cali, Neiva and Popay\u00e1n.<\/p>\n

This is how the IV National Research Meeting of the Faculty of Health Sciences is an event generated and coordinated by the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation, with the purpose of socializing the advances in the research projects and products by the research groups: Psyche and Society, Fisioter, and Fonotec. In the same way, this event has been consolidated as a space for reflection and analysis of investigative experiences and processes in such a way that direct feedback is generated to the Dean’s Office and leaders of the research groups on successful experiences, as well as general limitations or individuals, information that serves as input for the coordination and deployment of improvement processes and knowledge transfer actions between groups.<\/p>\n

This IV Meeting will have as its central axis: \u00abResearch: A transforming axis that impacts training in health sciences\u00bb<\/p>\n

Which will allow us to enhance the impact of research actions in the academic training of students of the Faculty of Health Sciences, rescuing the transversal role of research in teaching; To achieve this, the event will have three spaces for participation, which are listed below:<\/p>\n

November 4: First Symposium on Geometric Morphometry, which includes central national and international presentations and Workshop on Geometry Morphometry. Virtual event.<\/p>\n

November 17: Internal Meeting of Seedbeds: This day will have a space for a central presentation, presentations of seedbeds and a Fair of research seedbeds.<\/p>\n

November 18: National Research Meeting, with presentations on finished projects derived from the activity of the research groups and 2 central presentations with external guests.<\/p>\n

The conference is expected to include presentations by teachers and students from nurseries linked to the research groups FISIOTER, FONOTEC and PSIQUE y SOCIEDAD. As attendees, the participation of all the actors of the academic community, including graduates, is expected.<\/p>\n
