During the first semester of 2023, the Institution opens its doors to eight incoming, national and international exchange students, who arrive with the aim of living an academic experience that will contribute to their training as professionals with high impact, quality and glocal projection. Mar\u00eda Cano welcomes Diana Sarai Herrera Franco from the Autonomous University of the State of Morelos in Mexico who arrives at the Speech Pathology program at the Medell\u00edn campus; Brighyt Stefany Echeverria Hern\u00e1ndez, Anyil Cristina Y\u00e1\u00f1ez Palacios who will be in the Physiotherapy program at the Medell\u00edn campus, as well as Laura Alejandra L\u00f3pez Corzo for the Business Administration program in the virtual modality, from the University of Santander; Nathalia Elysa Rinc\u00f3n Hern\u00e1ndez, Ver\u00f3nica Patricia Ter\u00e1n G\u00e1mez and Linda Carolina Hern\u00e1ndez Mercado are from the University of Pamplona and will be in the Speech Pathology program at the Medell\u00edn campus; Finally, Jairo Alberto Arboleda Pel\u00e1ez from the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia will be in the Psychology program.<\/p>\n
The students were received in a welcome meeting in which institutional directors participated, who explained to them the importance of the experience they will have during this semester: Jorge Albeiro Herrera Builes, Academic Vice-Chancellor and Administrative Vice-Chancellor (e); Carlos Julio Escobar Nore\u00f1a, Vice Chancellor for Extension and Social Projection; Amilbia Palacios C\u00f3rdoba, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences; Juanita S\u00e1nchez Romero, Director of Physiotherapy; Mar\u00eda Tatiana Ram\u00edrez Lozano, Director of Phonoaudiology (e); Andr\u00e9s Felipe Londo\u00f1o V\u00e9lez, Director of Psychology; Marco Antonio Ruiz Correa, Dean of the Faculty of Business Sciences, V\u00edctor Hugo Monsalve Manco, Director of Business Administration; Elkin Antonio Restrepo Escobar, Director of Public Accounting; Nadya Mar\u00eda Sierra Nore\u00f1a, Human Development Coordinator and Tatiana Isabel Fontalvo Grueso, Head of International Relations.<\/p>\n
In this way, Mar\u00eda Cano promotes student academic mobility, meeting the objectives set in terms of internationalization of higher education in the Institution, one of the goals outlined in the institutional development plan.<\/p>\n
