On April 7, 2023, there will be a double reason to connect and express the commitment to the life and health of the population; World Health Day is celebrated and the 75th anniversary of the creation of the World Health Organization is celebrated, it is important to recognize the laudable work of this organization that has been in charge of giving guidelines to governments and actors linked to the health sector, to promote collective actions in favor of the quality of life of all the inhabitants of the planet. The date has the motto: \u00abHealth for all\u00bb.<\/p>\n

The Faculty of Health Sciences of the Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation is linked to the celebration of World Health Day and for this date it is important to remember that in the training process a fundamental commitment is assumed, keeping in mind that health is a means for personal and collective fulfillment and an indicator of the well-being and quality of life of the community; For this reason, a central element is specified, which is social development through the institutional programs of Physiotherapy, Phonoaudiology, Psychology and Occupational Therapy, where it is consistent with the following WHO slogan: \u00abSo that health for all is a reality , we need: people and communities who have access to high-quality health services so they can care for their own health and that of their families; skilled health workers who deliver quality, people-centred care; and managers developing policies that are committed to investing in universal health coverage.\u00bb<\/p>\n

In this context, Mar\u00eda Cano is committed to keeping open spaces for reflection around global and national health policies, so that the global purpose of health for all is a reality in Colombia, so it is essential not to forget that \u00abThrough the approach of \u00abhealth for all\u00bb it is intended that all people enjoy good health to lead a fulfilling life in a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable world\u00bb.<\/p>\n
