Through the strategy: Give Me Reasons, the Ministry of Health of the city of Medell\u00edn seeks to promote mental health and prevent suicidal behavior in the community of the capital of Antioquia through different components that impact various environments such as education, family , labor and community. This strategy also includes training in Psychological First Aid (PAPs) and the activation route of the Golden Code, as well as the dissemination of resources such as the Friendly Line and active listeners in the city. The Ministry of Health of Medell\u00edn, through Institutional Well-being, with the support of the health and human development coordination, certified the first Life Guardians in Psychological First Aid of the Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation, where collaborators, students and graduates participated.<\/p>\n
The work is focused on raising awareness about the importance of supporting people who have recently suffered a serious critical event and who are distressed and who are willing to receive support, people whose emotional disturbance does not allow them to take care of themselves or those who depend on them and people at risk of a hetero behavioral response

Once again, Mar\u00eda Cano joins the health authorities to accompany the community in moments of greatest vulnerability, while preparing members of the university community to support members of society in moments that require greater accompaniment. and orientation.<\/p>\n
