With the conversation entitled: \u00abThe Psychologist in the field of health and the challenges in their training\u00bb it was possible to learn about the importance of the work of professionals in this area, thanks to the participation of teachers Modesta Pousada Fern\u00e1ndez: Professor of Psychology and Educational Sciences Studies and director of the Psychology degree program at the Open University of Catalonia. Expert in processes of attention and memory of people and their changes from the use of ICT, health psychology and use of ICT to promote and care for it. And Jorge Arturo Mart\u00ednez G\u00f3mez: Professor at the School of Psychology of the Pedagogical and Technological University of Colombia and current director of the SEPA Applied Psychology Service. Expert in clinical psychology, evaluation and measurement, as well as in the study of dating violence, specifically evaluation, prevention and intervention of abuse in young couples.<\/p>\n<p>Psychology is a discipline that studies the behavior and relationships of the human being from a biopsychosocial approach, with the intention of generating a balance in the areas where it intervenes: organizational, clinical, educational, sports and community social. Its performance tends to respond to the demand, the needs of the moment and the advances of new technologies that allow active participation in the processes of transformation and change in the country. The psychology program assumes a commitment to the place of psychology in health, strengthening a differentiated role in society.<\/p>\n<p>The Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation Psychologist will be a professional with critical thinking and social sensitivity who, through efficient strategies of communication, autonomy and ethical behavior, responds to the changing dynamics of the context making use of valid knowledge developed in the scientific principles of the discipline for the evaluation, diagnosis and psychological intervention in the different disciplinary and interdisciplinary fields.
