The Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation, in the city of Popay\u00e1n, worked with the seventh semester students of the Physiotherapy program, in their labor practice, in coordination with the Speech Therapy program at the Occupational Health and Safety Fair held by the Industry Licorera del Cauca, which became an excellent opportunity to make visible to the collaborators of that organization and their families, the importance of the role of physiotherapy and speech therapy in terms of the promotion and prevention of diseases, as well as in the analysis of jobs, carrying out multiple areas of action for a good labor development, generating quality in workers and influencing healthy environments.<\/p>\n

The students, with the professionalism that characterizes them, and abiding by the principles of respect, equity, excellence, leadership, transparency and responsibility; They developed training activities in postural hygiene, hearing health, vibrational therapy with percussion, and harmonious pelvic oscillation. At the same time, they worked on the relationship with the organization’s collaborators, which allowed them to be guided on important and vital issues for the health of the community. Similarly, during the fair the academic offer of undergraduate, postgraduate and language center programs at the headquarters was presented.<\/p>\n
