Between September 27 and 29, the III Regional Meeting of AIESAD, Ibero-American Association of Distance Higher Education, will be held in Madrid, Spain, with the motto \u00abWithout limits or borders: new challenges of higher education in the global digital era \u00ab, organized by the National University of Distance Education of Spain, at the end of its 50th anniversary, in collaboration with the UNESCO Chair of Distance Education of the UNED and the National Open and Distance University of Colombia – UNAD.<\/p>\n

The rector Hugo Alberto Valencia Porras, in his constant objective of consolidating the educational actions promoted by the Mariacanovirtual campus, participates in international activity on behalf of the Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation and the Colombian Association of Higher Education Institutions with A programs Distance – ACESAD. The Meeting will take place on September 27, 28 and 29, 2023 at the UNED Faculty of Education, in Madrid, in hybrid mode, the program will consist of conferences with international experts, panels of experts, and presentation of innovative experiences in the framework of current transformations in the field of higher education that should not present limits or borders. The thematic areas to be worked on in the development of the III Regional Meeting are:<\/p>\n

  1. Emerging pedagogies and disruptive educational technologies in digitally enriched environments.<\/li>\n
  2. New training itineraries for lifelong learning without limits or borders.<\/li>\n
  3. Digital educational ecosystems and alliances in the new internationalization of higher education.<\/li>\n
  4. Advances in the generation of inclusive digital environments for learning.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The academic work of the III Regional Meeting of AIESAD includes conferences with international experts, panels of experts, and presentation of innovative experiences within the framework of current transformations in the field of higher education that should not present limits or borders. It is also a space to highlight the achievements of the association through the presentation of the Ibero-American Journal of Distance Education – RIED.<\/p>\n
