<\/p>\nThe Faculty of Business Sciences of the Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation, through the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit, led the holding of the conference called: \u201cLet’s talk with the heart, let’s talk about non-violence\u201d, with the presentation of Dr. Harivadan Shah, who is founder and director of the Mahatma Gandhi Foundation, a non-profit institution, without political or religious affiliation, dedicated to the promotion of Mahatma Gandhi’s principles: truth and non-violence, through the training of leaders for coexistence peaceful in the capital of Antioquia.<\/p>\n
The Mahatma Gandhi Foundation is committed to promoting the practice of truth and non-violence, to achieve peaceful coexistence and a more equitable society, through social campaigns in truth and non-violence, training and practice in truth and non-violence, with emphasis on children, adolescents and social leaders; as well as to study the causes and consequences of violence, to contribute directly to reconciliation and harmonious life in the city, in the region and in the country.<\/p>\n

The Fundadores auditorium of the Medell\u00edn headquarters received the in-person students of Business Administration and Public Accounting, while a broadcast was made for people in different areas of the country, including the students of the virtual modality; to carry out a dialogue, work as a team, reflect, meditate and have moments of consultation that would allow us to raise awareness of the importance of non-violence as a philosophy of life that contributes to the improvement of the quality of life of all people.<\/p>\n
It is important to remember that Gandhi is one of the greatest universal symbols of peace, during his life he mobilized the Indian people for civil disobedience and peaceful resistance against the British Empire, although his goals were broader: he wanted to abolish castes, achieve social justice and harmony between religions. This fragile-looking man showed the entire world that violence has no place in the fight for the dignity of a people.<\/p>\n
