This space of the Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation, at the Medell\u00edn headquarters, attached to the Faculty of Business Sciences, led by Professor Oscar Arley Meneses Zapata, was created so that the university community connects with the stock market ecosystem worldwide. Participating students have access to talks associated with financial markets and stock markets, financial assets and instruments, cryptocurrencies and investment platforms, among others.<\/p>\n
On March 8, 2023, the laboratory’s work was officially opened with a talk that provided insight into the global economic environment, while the first cohort of the Diploma in Stock Investment Management was opened, with the participation of six students, in addition to the subjects that are being adjusted in content, aligned with the laboratory so that future professionals respond to the needs of the current economic and financial dynamics.<\/p>\n
In the first semester of work, eleven talks were also held on key content and aligned with the needs evident in the new challenges of global trends, which aroused an important expectation in the students of Business Administration and Public Accounting, which was finally seen focused on the opening of the Diploma in Stock Market Financial Intelligence, which took place between the months of August and October, with the participation of twenty-four people.<\/p>\n
Thanks to these results, the Faculty of Business Sciences now plans to continue these training tasks, consolidate research work in the future that allows the university community to be in permanent contact with financial markets worldwide, contribute to the consolidation of the accreditation of academic programs and generate articulation with the Colombian Stock Exchange.<\/p>\n
