{"id":13109,"date":"2024-02-01T21:35:00","date_gmt":"2024-02-01T21:35:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fumc.edu.co\/en\/?p=13109"},"modified":"2024-02-01T21:35:00","modified_gmt":"2024-02-01T21:35:00","slug":"meeting-with-fao-colombia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fumc.edu.co\/en\/meeting-with-fao-colombia\/","title":{"rendered":"Meeting with FAO Colombia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Directors of the Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation met, virtually, with Daniel Veloza Manzanares from FAO Colombia, to evaluate the possibility of carrying out joint work in practices, research, social extension projects and continuous training between both institutions; initially with the Nutrition and Dietetics program of the Popay\u00e1n schools and work will be done on the formulation of a framework agreement FAO &#8211; Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation for the development of these processes in all campuses and all undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The Institution was represented by Ang\u00e9lica Mar\u00eda Zuluaga Calle, coordinator of the headquarters in the capital of Cauca; Sonia Magdalena Welsh Paz, director of the Internship Center and Gildardo de Jes\u00fas Uribe Gil, coordinator of the nutrition program at the Medell\u00edn headquarters.<\/p>\n<p>FAO is the United Nations agency leading the international effort to end hunger. Our goal is to achieve food security for all, while ensuring regular access to sufficient, good quality food to lead an active and healthy life. With 195 members &#8211; 194 countries and the European Union, FAO works in more than 130 countries around the world.
