As part of the research results of the project \u201cDesign of a prosthesis that adjusts to the conditions of the Colombian agricultural context in order to restore the physical conditions of victims of improvised explosive devices\u201d of call No. 808 called: Science projects , technology and innovation and its contribution to the country’s challenges of the national program of science, technology and innovation in engineering, was published in the journal Annals of Medicine classification Q1, the article titled \u201cMobility and postural limitations perceived by transtibial amputees undertaking agricultural activities : a qualitative study\u201d, this publication demonstrates the joint work of the researchers Fanny Valencia Legarda, Jes\u00fas Alberto Plata Contreras, Elizabeth Rend\u00f3n V\u00e9lez and the students Yesica Ortega Bedoya and Valentina Mej\u00eda from the Mar\u00eda Cano Educational Institutions, U. de A. and EAFIT .<\/p>\n

The article titled \u201cThe effect of mastectomy on baropodometric parameters for breast cancer patients,\u201d by researchers Catalina Lopera Mu\u00f1eton, Fanny Valencia Legarda, and Nelson Iv\u00e1n Cupitra Vergara from the Fisioter group, was published in the Journal of Medicine of the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, classification Q4. at the Medell\u00edn headquarters and the external researchers Camilo Andr\u00e9s P\u00e1ramo Vel\u00e1squez and David Correa Casta\u00f1o. This result is linked to the project \u00abAnalysis of the effect of external prosthesis and physiotherapy treatment on the quality of life of mastectomized women\u00bb and arises from the alliance between researchers from Mar\u00eda Cano, SENA and the private company Mascapacidad S.A.S.<\/p>\n

Professor Silvia Patricia Betancur Bedoya, a member of the Fisioter group at the Medell\u00edn headquarters, has published the article called \u201cComprehensive rehabilitation of the pelvic floor in a patient with sex reassignment surgery: about a case\u201d in the Colombian journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation category D. This manuscript reflects the joint work of physiotherapy with areas related to medical and health sciences and shows the interest in exploring other contexts from comprehensive rehabilitation.<\/p>\n
