One of the main actions that the rector Hugo Alberto Valencia Porras has led at the Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation, has been the quarterly evaluation of the fulfillment of the goals set in the annualized work plans, which allows strict monitoring of the actions of the subsystems assigned to the strategic lines of the Institution. In this way, correct decisions can be made and corrective actions established to comply with what is expressed in the mission: to be a higher education institution with presence in local, regional and national contexts; committed to social projection in the development of teaching, research and extension; and aimed at training people with critical thinking, social commitment and glocal vision.<\/p>\n

Thus, on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, the leaders presented the results that are consolidated in a fulfillment of 94.2% of the activities projected for the period April, May and June, which contributes to an achievement of 42.3% within the scope of the goals set for the current term. When doing the exhaustive analysis, it can be seen that the Academic Quality line achieved 95%, the Relationship with the Environment line reached 92.3% and the Institutional Management line reached 93%.<\/p>\n

The directors of the Institution evidenced important opportunities for improvement for the work that will be led in the second semester, while committing to continue contributing, in a unified and harmonious manner, to the fulfillment of the projects and goals outlined in the 2017 Development Plan. – 2026 \u00abBuilding Future\u00bb.<\/p>\n
