Dr. Mariutsi Alexandra Osorio Sanabria, professor at the Faculty of Engineering of the Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation and advisor to the Center for Research and Business Development – CIDE, participated on August 15, 2024 in two workshops organized by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation – Minciencias, with the support of the National Network of Research Ethics Committees and Bioethics Committees \u2013 regional Antioquia node.<\/p>\n

During this important activity, we participated in focus groups to contribute to feedback on the proposals:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Governance of Research Ethics Committees.<\/li>\n
  2. Code of scientific integrity for Colombia.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Addressing crucial issues such as the Governance model, the mapping of actors, as well as the concept, principles and bad practices associated with scientific integrity, which will be reflected in the academic training process of new generations and in social service. that is provided to the community.<\/p>\n

    These workshops turned out to be an enriching experience, which allowed us to strengthen the relationship with Minciencias, as well as with the participating experts in research ethics who are part of different institutions at the local, regional and national level.<\/p>\n
