The teachers who are members of the Fisioter group: Viviana Caicedo Delgado, Piedad Roc\u00edo Lerma Casta\u00f1o and the Headquarters Coordinator Diana Mar\u00eda Salazar Rojas, achieved the publication of the article titled: \u201cFactors associated with delays in the development of boys and girls in the school stage\u201d, a product of the project research \u00abPsychomotor profile and healthy lifestyles in boys and girls at the Reynaldo Matiz School in Neiva.\u00bb This article was published in RETOS Magazine – New Trends in Physical Education, Recreation and Sports-, Vol. 60 (2024), a magazine indexed in Scopus with category Q2<\/p>\n
The result of this project allows us to strengthen actions for the promotion and maintenance of the mental health of the children and adolescents who benefit from the program. Likewise, it was proposed from the parent schools to develop training plans in the identification of early warnings against sedentary lifestyle, obesity and mental health post COVID 19 pandemic. For the Institution it is very important that the headquarters’ research contributes to the well-being of the communities of the city of Neiva and the department of Huila and also serves as a theoretical reference for the development of research in the academic programs of Mar\u00eda Cano.<\/p>\n
