The Fundaci\u00f3n Universitaria Mar\u00eda Cano, Neiva campus, as a key player in the Territorial Science, Technology, and Innovation System, and in recognition of its experience and track record in the regional field, actively participated as a departmental actor in the territorial demands workshop held at the Huila Department Government.<\/p>\n

During the event, key topics such as knowledge, conservation, and sustainability of biodiversity, food sovereignty, energy transition, health, and basic sanitation were addressed. Furthermore, strategies were discussed to mitigate and eradicate all forms of conflict in the region.<\/p>\n

The event was organized by the Departmental Government, through the Administrative Planning Department and the Science, Technology, and Innovation Office, and led by MinCiencias. It also included the participation of national government experts such as Fernando Gonz\u00e1lez from the Directorate of Capacities and Knowledge Appropriation \u2013 MinCiencias, Marcela Vel\u00e1squez from the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications (TIC), and Iv\u00e1n P\u00e1ez from the Ministry of Environment. The Mar\u00eda Cano Foundation contributed to the event with professors who participated to represent the institution and contribute to a collaborative State-Academia effort.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
