<\/p>\nThe Fundaci\u00f3n Universitaria Mar\u00eda Cano remains committed to quality in all its actions, and therefore begins this year 2025 with the external follow-up audit, conducted in person by Icontec. The main purpose of this audit is to evaluate the level of compliance with the Quality Management System certifications: 5555, a tool that provides quality management systems for vocational training institutions, improving access to new markets and facilitating commercialization; and 5580, which is a recognition granted to training institutions that meet the quality requirements for language training programs.<\/p>\n
The Medell\u00edn campus will receive the in-person visit of lead auditor Luis Mauricio Toro Marulanda, who holds a degree in Business Administration from Fundaci\u00f3n Universitaria CEIPA, is an expert in Quality Management from the University of Medell\u00edn, and has specialized in Curriculum Design for training programs. His experience as a coordinator of agreements and administrative director at CEIDA, along with his role as an ICONTEC auditor since 2017, provides him with a comprehensive and deep understanding of management systems. His experience in curriculum design will be very useful when reviewing training programs.<\/p>\n

In the city of Cali, auditor Susana Ivonne Gadiel Bedoya, a Master’s in Administration from the University of Valle and a Specialist in Quality for Competitiveness from the University ECSI, will be present. Her background as a professor and ICONTEC evaluator since 2011 makes her a highly qualified professional for assessing and improving our processes. Additionally, her strong knowledge in quality for competitiveness will be valuable when reviewing the management indicators.<\/p>\n
Over the course of two days, an agenda will be followed in which institutional topics will be analyzed and reviewed, such as: institutional direction, internal audits, customer service, management of PQRSFD (suggestions, complaints, and requests), marketing, ICT management, human resources, teaching processes, and program evaluation.<\/p>\n
The visit will be hosted by the Rector, Hugo Alberto Valencia Porras, the vice rectors, the leaders of the various areas of the institution, the campus coordinators, and the leaders of the support teams, all of whom have seriously and committedly prepared to demonstrate, once again, the institution’s strong commitment to the growth and consolidation of Mar\u00eda Cano.
