The director of the Speech-Language Pathology program, Diego Ernesto Cruz Sanabria, attended in person the Ordinary Assembly held on Wednesday, March 19, and Thursday, March 20, 2025, in the Caribbean city of Barranquilla, at the facilities of the Universidad Metropolitana. The purpose of this event was to advance in the management processes related to the monitoring and improvement of the quality of higher education in the academic units that are part of the association. It is worth mentioning that ASOFON is the \u00abColombian Association of Speech-Language Pathology Faculties (ASOFON), an academic, non-profit organization founded on December 4, 1999, whose purpose is to promote the harmonious development and quality of higher education in speech-language pathology programs in the country.\u00bb<\/p>\n
As a result of this assembly, the new National Board of Directors for 2025-2027 of ASOFON was appointed, and the director of the Speech-Language Pathology program at the Medell\u00edn campus was elected as the secretary of the board.
