This event took place on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at the Care Circle in Comuna 8 \u2013 UVA La Imaginaci\u00f3n, and offered free services in occupational therapy, speech therapy, physical therapy, nutrition, and psychology.<\/p>\n<p>This initiative is part of the Medell\u00edn Care System, a program focused on recognizing, redistributing, and reducing unpaid caregiving work\u2014primarily carried out by women. These brigades aim to offer essential health services to those who dedicate their lives to others but often neglect their own well-being.<\/p>\n<p>The Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation\u2019s participation reflects its strong social commitment to the health and wellness of Medell\u00edn\u2019s community. With a focus on social outreach, volunteerism, and coordinated efforts with the local government, the institution strengthens community health and promotes greater equity and inclusion.<\/p>\n<p>The next Health Brigade will take place on November 7 in Comuna 3, at UVA La Alegr\u00eda. The same services\u2014occupational therapy, speech therapy, physical therapy, nutrition, and psychology\u2014will be available.
