The research professors Diana Paola Montealegre Su\u00e1rez, Maira Alejandra Camargo Valderrama, and the director of the Neiva campus, Diana Mar\u00eda Salazar Rojas, proudly share their most recent publication in the journal Medicina y Seguridad en el Trabajo<\/em>, titled \u201cBurnout Syndrome Associated with Occupational Characteristics of Health Workers.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

This study also involved faculty members from various disciplines affiliated with the Fundaci\u00f3n Escuela Tecnol\u00f3gica de Neiva, Jes\u00fas Oviendo P\u00e9rez, and the Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia (UNAD) \u2014 institutions with which Mar\u00eda Cano maintains interinstitutional cooperation agreements. This collaboration strengthens research groups, promotes interdisciplinary work, and consolidates academic and scientific ties among the participating institutions.<\/p>\n

The study\u2019s findings represent a significant contribution to the understanding of the occupational factors influencing Burnout Syndrome among healthcare personnel, as they reveal the relationship between job characteristics and emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and reduced personal accomplishment. These results provide valuable insights for designing institutional strategies aimed at promoting psychosocial well-being, managing work-related stress, and preventing disorders associated with high-demand healthcare environments.<\/p>\n
