The Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation, Cali campus, reaffirmed its commitment to social outreach and the practical training of its students by actively participating, through its institutional volunteer program, in the Cali Marathon, an international event held on Sunday, May 3, 2026, in the city.<\/p>\n

During the sporting event, which brought together national and international runners, students played a key role in supporting the athletes, providing assistance across different areas of the event. Their main contributions included injury prevention actions, guidance on dynamic stretching, and immediate care for athletes requiring physical assistance during and after the competition.<\/p>\n

In addition, the volunteers implemented specialized techniques such as massage therapy and myofascial release\u2014key tools for reducing muscle fatigue, enhancing recovery, and optimizing participants\u2019 physical performance. These interventions significantly contributed to the well-being of the runners in a highly demanding physical event.<\/p>\n
