<\/p>\nFundaci\u00f3n Universitaria Mar\u00eda Cano, Popay\u00e1n campus, participated in the event \u201cSexuality, Decisions, and Well-Being: Building Informed, Free, and Safe Youth\u201d, an initiative organized by the Departmental Health Secretariat of the Cauca Governor\u2019s Office as part of the 2026 Andean Week for the Prevention of Childhood and Adolescent Pregnancy.<\/p>\n
The event brought together first-semester students from the Nutrition and Dietetics, Speech-Language Pathology, and Physiotherapy programs, who took part in a learning experience designed to strengthen their knowledge of sexual and reproductive health, promote self-care, and encourage reflection on responsible and informed decision-making.<\/p>\n
Throughout the session, participants explored topics related to sexual and reproductive rights, prevention of unintended pregnancy, life-project development, and the prevention of different forms of violence that may affect children, adolescents, and young adults. Through interactive activities and dialogue-based discussions, students analyzed real-life situations and identified tools that contribute to their overall well-being.<\/p>\n
