Fundaci\u00f3n Universitaria Mar\u00eda Cano, Cali campus, participated in the sixth session of the Southwest Regional Node of the National University Outreach Network (RNEU), part of ASCUN, held in partnership with CIDESCO at Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana (UPB), Palmira campus. The institution was represented by Professor Nelson Andrade, who joined this space for dialogue and collaboration on the role of higher education in social transformation.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, representatives from UPB Palmira, Fundaci\u00f3n Universitaria de Popay\u00e1n, and Universidad Icesi shared their models of social outreach and university extension. Participants also reviewed progress on the Heroes of Social Outreach League initiative, led by CIDESCO, and discussed the committees’ work plan.<\/p>\n

Taking part in these events allows Mar\u00eda Cano to learn about good practices, contribute to academic dialogue, and strengthen collaboration with other higher education institutions. These experiences create opportunities to share knowledge, promote joint initiatives, and enrich university outreach processes.<\/p>\n
