Students and graduates from different campuses took part in recovery activities, putting their knowledge into practice to support athletes\u2019 well-being.<\/p>\n<p>After the race, the physiotherapy team provided care through manual techniques aimed at promoting muscle relaxation, relieving tension, and supporting physical recovery after intense exertion. These interventions offered cyclists an opportunity to receive post-race care while highlighting the importance of physiotherapy in sports and muscle recovery.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-15852\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fumc.edu.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/3-29.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"840\" height=\"430\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.fumc.edu.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/3-29.jpg 840w, https:\/\/www.fumc.edu.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/3-29-768x393.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 840px) 100vw, 840px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The event also provided a valuable learning experience for students and graduates, who were able to apply their knowledge in a major sporting event, strengthen their professional skills, and respond to athletes\u2019 needs in a real-world setting.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-15853\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fumc.edu.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/4-19.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"840\" height=\"430\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.fumc.edu.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/4-19.jpg 840w, https:\/\/www.fumc.edu.co\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/4-19-768x393.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 840px) 100vw, 840px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Through this experience, Mar\u00eda Cano reaffirms its commitment to hands-on education, social engagement, and people&#8217;s well-being, while showcasing the contribution of physiotherapy to sports and healthcare.
