The event organized by the Colombian Association of Physiotherapy Students – ACEFIT – was held at the Mar\u00eda Cano branch in Cali, where the topic regarding one of the six work axes articulated in favor of the National Congress of Physiotherapy in Barranquilla in November was brought up. This time the axis of Public Health worked at, focused on primary health care in PHC and the role of the physiotherapist.<\/p>\n
The event was opened by the student representative of ACEFIT, Virginia Solarte and the representative of Mar\u00eda Cano Cali at ACEFIT, Sebasti\u00e1n Ramos Camacho. In the event two presentations were made by an international with Mr. Esteban Ferrari, kinesiologist and physiatrist, from the National University of La Matanza – Argentina; and a national with Mar\u00eda Claudia Astaiza, physiotherapist, who addressed the issues designated from the axis of the Congress.<\/p>\n
The academic activity was attended by students from different semesters of Mar\u00eda Cano and with students from external universities such as the Santiago de Cali and the National Sports School.<\/p>\n
