Phono audiology professor, Jhon Fredy Quintero Uribe, shares with the entire university community the publication of his article: \u00abDisability, Diversity and Inclusion: Conceptions of Phono audiologists Working in Inclusive Education\u00bb, in Vol. 36(3) of the National School of Public Health Journal (University of Antioquia), which has now been integrated into the repository of the National Observatory on Disability of CONADIS – National Council for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities) from the Peruvian Government.<\/p>\n
It should be noted that this is a documentary repository from a foreign country\u2019s government and that its publication is elevated at an international level. It also stands out the investigative work capacity that is led from the Maria Cano through this important program of the health sciences, which watches over the attention of the problems that arise within human communication.<\/p>\n
As indicated in its web portal: The National Observatory on Disability is an instrument for knowledge and information management, exchange and collaboration in which strategic information is collected, processed and generated in the different areas of intervention related to people with disabilities. This allows the corresponding authorities and operators to design, implement, monitor and evaluate public policies, programs and projects in the field. It also provides information for the development of research, studies and academic debates, notifying the general population about services, specialized knowledge and key statistics on disability.<\/p>\n
Its main objective is: \u00abTo collect, process and generate strategic information in the different areas of intervention related to people with disabilities, which will allow authorities to design, implement, monitor and evaluate public policies, programs and projects\u00bb. On the other hand, it provides information for the research and academic debate development. It also informs the general population about services, research and key statistics on disability.<\/p>\n
