{"id":9077,"date":"2020-10-13T17:11:58","date_gmt":"2020-10-13T17:11:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fumc.edu.co\/en\/?p=9077"},"modified":"2020-10-13T17:11:58","modified_gmt":"2020-10-13T17:11:58","slug":"committed-to-early-childhood","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fumc.edu.co\/en\/committed-to-early-childhood\/","title":{"rendered":"The Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation committed to Early Childhood"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Institution, in conjunction with the Fundaci\u00f3n Universitaria Cat\u00f3lica del Norte, begins today the qualification process of 100 educational agents attached to the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare &#8211; ICBF, who currently have the benefit granted by ICETEX through Fund 1787, within the framework of the implementation of the State Policy for the Comprehensive Development of Early Childhood \u00abFrom Zero to Always\u00bb, Law 1804 of 2016, which includes actions aimed at the universalization, humanization and flexibility of early childhood care , as well as the qualification of human talent and adjustments to the quality of the offer that is provided through programs, projects and services.<\/p>\n<p>Mar\u00eda Cano, consolidates itself as an institution with a social focus that seeks the training of professionals committed to different social groups in this case, of those in charge of initial education and early childhood care, joining the national strategy of providing comprehensive care to this social group as an important step towards the recognition and guarantee of the rights of boys and girls in the country.<\/p>\n<p>The Specialization in Comprehensive Early Childhood Care seeks to train specialists, who work in a coordinated manner for the development of children between 0 and 6 years of age. In this way, it is aimed at the training of educational agents with an inclusive vision who value diversity as an inherent characteristic of the human being and with the capacity to contribute their knowledge in multiple fields, exercising actions aimed at promotion and prevention programs, designing and participating of research, academic and community social proposals.
