The Physiotherapy program of Mar\u00eda Cano at the Popay\u00e1n campus, in tune with institutional dynamics, seeks to impact the health and well-being of its communities and the public that it impacts with academic work. In this way, INDEPORTES Cauca has led a physical activity program with the athletes assigned to the basketball, sound football and adapted sport 7 football teams with the aim of accompanying the inhabitants of the city and the department in the generation of styles of healthy living, especially during the pandemic where people must spend a long time in the safety and tranquility of their homes.<\/p>\n

In the space, which the students of the Practical II subject accompany, training sessions are planned and directed to optimize the physical capacities of the athletes in their discipline; which transcends inclusion processes that favor the integration of the Cauca population in the different recreational and sports spaces; At the same time, accompaniment is carried out for people who have not been able to carry out their normal and routine activities during 2020.<\/p>\n

In this way, Mar\u00eda Cano, increasingly demonstrates the commitment to accompany the members of society in the care, protection and prevention of diseases, demonstrating the importance of the work of the physiotherapist, which shows their actions, not only as a professional, but as a person who cares about being a good citizen and an excellent member of the population, by carrying out actions that ensure good physical and mental health.<\/p>\n
