<\/p>\nThe international academic activity was carried out in agreement with the Technological Institute of Sonora – ITSON, Navojoa campus, Mexico and with the leadership of the SUMAR research group, in coordination with the Faculty of Business Sciences, the Internationalization Office, the Office of Graduates and the Open Chair program. The research meeting had more than 100 participants, including managers, professors, researchers, graduates and students from Colombia and Mexico. The keynote speakers were Professor Humberto Serna G\u00f3mez, emeritus researcher and leader of the Sumar Group, Professor Ricardo Le\u00f3n S\u00e1nchez Arenas, associate researcher of the Sumar group, Professor Jorge Guadalupe Mendoza Le\u00f3n, ITSON researcher and Professor Juan Jos\u00e9 Garc\u00eda Ochoa, Researcher from the University of Sonora – UNISON, from Mexico.<\/p>\n

In the words of Professor Marco Antonio Ruiz Correa, Dean of the Faculty of Business Sciences: \u201cIt was a space for discussion and reflection on the management competencies required in a post-pandemic environment, as well as to discuss research trends in America Latin; on the other hand, it served to strengthen the relationships between Mar\u00eda Cano, ITSON and UNISON in terms of generating impact projects that benefit the institutions and communities they serve \u201d.<\/p>\n

The event, which ends on Friday, December 11, also served as a stage to present presentations with the results of different investigations carried out by Sumar, among which the following interventions stand out: \u201cThe orange economy in Colombia, a sector in structural crisis \u201d, which was developed by the Researcher of the Sumar group, Carlos Mario Londo\u00f1o Toro and\u201c Inclusive businesses in the department of Antioquia: some reflections from the analysis of the subregions \u201d, which was developed by the group’s co-leader Add Ana Mar\u00eda P\u00e9rez Naranjo.<\/p>\n
The team of organizers of the international academic activity thanks Mar\u00eda Cano for providing the resources and allowing the realization of this type of events, which facilitate and represent an opportunity for the dissemination of high-impact knowledge to the different communities.<\/p>\n
