Aware of the importance of \u201cdemystifying\u201d research and publication, to recognize that one learns to research and publish; From the Physiotherapy program, the Teachers’ Nursery at the headquarters, articulated with the Fisioter Group, at the Popay\u00e1n headquarters developed the discussion: \u00abThe importance of researching and publishing in your professional life.\u00bb A space that was attended by 142 participants and as central guests two professionals, Physiotherapists: who shared spontaneously, clearly and generously, their experience in the field of research and the publication of articles in indexed, high-level journals: the PhD in advances in research on disability and Magister in integration of people with disabilities, from the University of Salamanca; Specialist and Magister in Neurorehabilitation, Senior Researcher Minciencias: Claudia Patricia Henao Lema, who currently works as Dean of Health Sciences of the Autonomous University of Manizales and Piedad Roc\u00edo Lerma Casta\u00f1o, Specialist and Master in Neurorehabilitation, PhD student in Cognitive Sciences of UAM, Junior Researcher, Peer evaluator recognized by Minciencias and Research Professor of the Fisioter Group of the Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation.<\/p>\n
This discussion is considered a valuable exercise that allowed, among other aspects, to identify common and fundamental habits for the achievement of successful research and publications; demonstrate the advantages that research can contribute to contribute to the improvement of quality in professional practice, the performance of teaching with excellence and to the fulfillment of satisfactory personal and professional goals, but especially, as a vehicle for carrying out a job collaborative that contributes to the strengthening of the research of our academic community, which is on the path towards accreditation of high institutional quality.<\/p>\n
