The professor and researcher of the Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation, Adriana Marcela Rojas Gil, attached to the Speech Therapy program, participated in the activity called EXPO PALABRA \u00abDiscover the universal language\u00bb organized by the Santo Tom\u00e1s University; The activity was developed through a discussion in which the invited speakers shared different significant experiences related to inclusion projects developed from different cities. These projects seek to respond to the needs of students in the institution of higher education; This is the case of blind, low vision, Deaf students and projects that make gender equality visible.<\/p>\n

Thanks to her outstanding experience and professionalism, Professor Adriana highlighted, during her speech, the different experiences developed within the FONOTEC research group of the Mar\u00eda Cano Speech Therapy program around inclusive education and respect for differences. It is important to bear in mind that the researcher has led different projects that focus on accompanying the community to find solutions to the different problems that arise in the communicative process of human beings, which makes her an authority on the subject .<\/p>\n

The Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation is proud of the important activities led by academic programs, researchers and teachers, in the constant search for the well-being of the community, where the daily commitment to social projection is evidenced.<\/p>\n
