As part of the commitment to transparency, access to information and responsibility with the university community, the Rector of the Mar\u00eda Cano University Foundation, in the company of the Vice-Rectors, the Director of Planning and the Coordinators of the Medell\u00edn, Cali, Neiva and Popay\u00e1n campuses , presented the report of the institutional work in the last year, corresponding to the actions undertaken and most significant achievements during 2020 in compliance with missionary functions and management through the different subsystems that make up the Institution.<\/p>\n

Accountability presents the results of a transparent management in the face of the changes presented by the world situation, lived during the year 2020, which allowed migrating actions and generating strategies for the attention and permanence of the student community and the coverage of the needs of permanently to our target audiences, in compliance with the policies, Institutional guidelines and implementation of the Development Plan 2017 – 2026 \u00abBuilding the Future\u00bb.<\/p>\n

The report reflects the result of the commitment, with the new challenges, of the work team, managers, teachers, students and collaborators of the different academic and administrative units, all with a common goal in a situation that was managed to obtain great results.<\/p>\n

Among the most important achievements we can mention: the filing before the CNA of the self-evaluation reports for accreditation purposes of the Business Administration, Speech Therapy and Physiotherapy programs at the Medell\u00edn headquarters; the self-evaluation process for the purposes of accreditation of the Cali Physiotherapy, Neiva Physiotherapy, Popay\u00e1n Physiotherapy and Psychology programs; obtaining the renewal of the qualified registry of the Face-to-face Business Administration, Face-to-face Public Accounting programs and the approval of the Pedagogical, Didactic and Evaluation Foundation, designed based on the new normative guidelines of the Ministry of National Education, for the strengthening of academic programs, through Rectoral Resolution No. 864 of January 27, 2021.<\/p>\n

Another very important achievement was obtaining the construction license to improve the headquarters in the city of Medell\u00edn, which will allow to expand coverage and have higher quality spaces.<\/p>\n
